MOTHER'S DAY

In France, Mother's Day is celebrated on the last Sunday of May. Although not every country celebrates this day on the same date, most do so in spring.

In general, we all have a special fondness for our mother's dishes. Their recipes, tricks, and dishes are very difficult to replicate, perhaps due to the quantities of sugar, salt, cream, spices, and oil they use. Their measurements, mostly intuitive, are often described by terms such as "a handful," "a pinch," or "a dash."

We all have in mind that favorite dish of our mother that we adore, and despite our attempts to remake it at home or even with the help of top chefs, it will never be as delicious as our mom's.
