Because the blades are made using a technique patented by Arcos, NITRUM®, they have a high quality edge. It is a process in which the stainless steel is moulded and forged with nitrogen, which provides greater hardness and cutting efficiency.

The handles are made of polyoxymethylene, a thermoplastic widely used in items that demand high precision, hardness and stability. They come with a rounded locking ring.
