The soul behind the edge: José Andrés

More than an internationally renowned chef and founder of José Andrés Group, José Andrés is a true ambassador of Spanish culture and gastronomy beyond Spain’s borders. This collection is born from a shared pride in the "Made in Spain" seal: the chef’s global experience joins almost 300 years and nine generations of Arcos’ artisanal history in Albacete, together proving that the craftsmanship of our land can compete at the highest level worldwide.

A tribute to our roots:
"Cutting is sharing"

Beyond technique, this partnership is built on a human and generous philosophy under the motto "Cutting is sharing", understanding cooking as a space for connection.

This bond with the land is uniquely reflected in the handle made from natural holm oak wood. As the tree of the dehesa that sustains the Iberian pig — which José Andrés passionately promotes around the world —, each knife becomes a living tribute to our roots. A symbolic way to carry a piece of Spanish land and culture in your hand with every cut.

The chef behind the series

José Andrés.
A life
in the kitchen.

Born in Asturias and recognized as one of the most influential chefs in the world, José Andrés has brought Spanish cuisine to the great stages of the United States and beyond. The series that bears his name is born from that same philosophy: precision, character and the finest steel from Albacete.

01 DESIGN — THE WOOD THAT MAKES IT UNIQUE

EVERY HANDLE,
A ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE.

The natural holm oak wood handle is not just an aesthetic choice: it is a noble material that brings warmth, character and an ergonomic grip that naturally adapts to the hand.

As it is natural wood, each piece has unique grain patterns and tones. No two are alike. Because the best knives, like the best ingredients, are never exactly the same.

02 PERFORMANCE — FORGED FOR EVERY CUT

LIGHT. PRECISE.
EFFORTLESS.

Forged from a single piece of NITRUM® stainless steel, the knives in the José Andrés Series combine strength and balance with a weight designed for prolonged use without fatigue. From the paring knife for the most delicate tasks to the ham knife for perfect slices: a complete collection for those who treat every ingredient with the respect it deserves.

For those who cook with soul

THE EDGE
THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

The Silk Edge is the result of artisanal sharpening carried out by master knifemakers. An exceptionally smooth cutting sensation that can be felt from the very first use and lasts over time. When the tool is perfect, cooking becomes something else.

About Arcos

Our history

Since 1734

Arcos began its history in 1734 with the scissors created by Juan de Arcos, now preserved in the Albacete Cutlery Museum. In 1875, Gregorio Arcos Aroca transformed the artisan workshop into a mass-production factory. Today, we are a global benchmark in cutlery.
