BEFORE FIRST USE
Place the frying pan over low heat for 30 seconds and, using a paper towel, spread oil over the non-stick surface.
Remove any excess oil if too much is used.
Wait until the oil that has been spread has fully evaporated.
Once the oil has evaporated, remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool down.
When the pan is cool, wash it with water and a soft sponge to remove any residue from the previous process without damaging the coating.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Let the pan cool to room temperature on its own (do not pour cold water on it, as this may damage the coating).
To remove stubborn, baked-on grease, soak the pan in hot soapy water for a couple of hours. Baking soda can be used to help remove grease.
Do not scrape the coating with metal utensils. Only use soft scouring pads suitable for non-stick surfaces.
The pan can be washed in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended to extend its lifespan. If you use the dishwasher very frequently, the surface may become dull.
Store on a shelf or in a drawer with space to breathe and avoid stacking. If you must stack them, protect the coating with cardboard or cloth to prevent damage.
USE
The burner diameter should match the size of the pan.
If you use a gas hob, make sure the flame only touches the base and never the sides or handles.
Use medium or low heat and allow the pan to heat up slowly and gradually.
High heat levels, as well as sudden temperature changes, damage the coating.
Never let oil or fat burn.
Do not use the pans as containers to store food.
Use silicone, wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils.
Do not use metal utensils such as spoons, whisks, etc., as they will damage the coating.
Do not bang utensils against the rim of the pan.
Knives or scissors should not be used to cut food while cooking. Scratches on the coating caused by the use of metal or cutting utensils are not covered by the warranty.
Avoid overheating, which is also not covered by the warranty. Overheating damage is easy to identify because the coating loses its colour and often peels off.
